Step 1: Read a Book
Reading books has always helped me when I had nothing to do. Books take me into a whole new world, or fantasy far away from where I am. It takes all the drama and stress out of my life. Ever just wanted to lay down next to a fire, under a cozy blanket, and read?
Step 2: Sleep
Sleeping is never a bad thing. It actually regenerates your energy and will make you ready to take on the rest of the day! So just lay down on your bed or couch and shut your eyes. When you wake up, it will feel like a whole new world! And more important, you will have enough energy to get up and go outside!
Step 3: Be Active
After relaxing all day, it is nice to be active. Being active could just mean going on a walk or playing outside. You could even just call a friend and hang out. Even on not so beautiful days, there is always something you can do. In the Winter, go Ice Skating, or sledding! And during Fall, you can rake a leaf pile to jump into! Then in Spring and Summer, you can go to the pool, play outside, and many other activities!
And that is how you cure, boring weekends! So tell your friends to try this too!
